Local Council Election Certified Results
[04.17.08] -- 1235 PDT -- With the democratic process of our union having run its course through our membership here at LAX, we have received the certified final results of our Local Council Officer Elections from the AFA-CWA International Office. Congratulations to all of the candidates, and our newly elected officers from LAX Council 12. The new three-year term of office begins July 1, 2008.

The communication vehicle known as AFALAX.org has taken on a life of its own. We are proud to say that visitors to our LEC site and feedback from flight attendants has allowed us to take it to a place we never thought possible. We built it - you came to it. Thanks for all of your support and words of encouragement since our LEC site's inception in December 2005!
Behind-the-scenes work by your AFA Activists & Volunteers are in overdrive! Check in to the LEC Office at your base or make contact with your Local AFA Leadership. You'll be surprised to see just how much there is to learn and do. Make it a point to contribute to a vested interest in OUR careers!
