This week our Local Council election for the new term of office beginning January 1, 2008 concluded with the following results:

Local Council President - Saad Bhatkar

Local Council Vice President - Richard Wacker

Local Council Secretary - Angela M. Smith

Council Representatives - Vasco DaGama & Angela Fletcher

We congratulate the successful candidates and we are grateful to every candidate who put their name forward to serve in a leadership position in AFA LHR Council 7. Every contribution is vital to the success of our democracy.

Outside of the election process, we are always looking for volunteers to help in a variety of Committees.

Remember, unions are not separate from the workers they represent – we are the union. And, no other Union is more democratic than ours. This is Your AFA – make our Union the best it can be.
