| Domicile | Total Number of Transfers Awarded | SW Seniority of Most Junior Flight Attendant Awarded a Transfer at this Location |
|---|---|---|
| BOS | 1 | May 9, 1993 |

There are approximately 38 Flight Attendants on a waitlist to transfer into HKG. In the event that Flight Attendants awarded a HKG transfer are unable to obtain the proper visa, they will forfeit their HKG transfer award and will be awarded the next available choice. A HKG transfer will then be awarded to the next Flight Attendant on the waitlist. Procedures for utilization of the waitlist will be outlined and posted shortly.
2003 vacations for all transferring and surplus Flight Attendants will be retained.
AFA and the Company have agreed that Section 22.J.4.a., which provides for a 540 day recall period after a surplus, will be extended to Taipei Flight Attendants should the Company reopen the domicile. All affected Flight Attendants will retain this recall right after the forced base closure transfer. Additionally, AFA has negotiated maintaining this recall right with the first subsequent transfer following the Taipei base closure transfer. Historically, if a recall does not occur within the first 540 days following the surplus, AFA has requested an extension of these recall rights without any objections from United.
