LETTER OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
UNITED AIR LINES, INC.
AND
THE AIR LINE STEWARDESSES AND FLIGHT STEWARDS
IN THE SERVICE OF
UNITED AIR LINES, INC.
AS REPRESENTED BY
THE AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATIONS, INTERNATIONAL
THIS LETTER OF AGREEMENT is made and entered into in accordance with the provisions of Title II of the Railway Labor Act, as amended, by and between UNITED AIR LINES, INC. (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE “COMPANY”) and the AIR LINE STEWARDESSES AND FLIGHT STEWARDS in the service of UNITED AIR LINES, INC. as represented by the AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONAL (hereafter referred to as the “Association”).
WITNESSETH:
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed that:

Section 5, Paragraph L (sub-domiciles) of the 1972 Stewardess and Steward Agreement shall remain in effect through May, 1973.

Effective for the June, 1973 schedules, in order to bid on a B-747 or DC-10 aircraft, a stewardess must be both emergency and service qualified.

Effective with the date of this contract, the Company agrees to train those interested in B-747 and DC-10 flying as soon as possible in seniority order.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have signed this Letter of Agreement this 28th day of February, 1973.
