American workers know very well that the scope of our pension fight goes well beyond United Airlines. It affects the retirement security of every single American. We are working to save our viable defined benefit pension plan and to make sure that no one has to face the uncertainty and devastation Flight Attendants confront today. The following organizations are examples of some of the workers who stand in solidarity to defend our Contract and the retirement security of all Americans.

This coalition consists of all cabin crew and ground staff unions who have members at Star Alliance carriers -- more than 20 trade unions in 12 different countries at 10 different airlines form this coalition.

AFL-CIO Support
The AFL-CIO, and its 13 million members, last week threw its support behind legislation for a six-month moratorium on pension plan terminations by the PBGC. An alert was sent to AFL-CIO members through the Working Families E-Activist Network to add their voices to the demand that Congress take action to save retirement security through HR 2327.
