APR 5 at 1530 CDT -- The Daylight Savings Time problem and the certificate update problem on the AOL servers appear to have now been corrected.
Among the most common issue is people receiving an "authentication error" with a time stamp with an OK box in the middle of the screen.
That particular message was due to a certificate update failure on the AOL servers, however that problem should now be resolved. Nevertheless, there may be a possibility that you need to manually delete the CTC Bridge UTS file from the Internet Properties before trying the new connection process again.
To delete the CTC Bridge UTC file:
1. Click START.
2. Select SETTINGS.
3. Click on CONTROL PANEL.
4. In the Control Panel double-click on INTERNET OPTIONS.
5. In the Internet Properties Window, in the center where it says "Temporary Internet Files," click on the SETTINGS button.
6. At the bottom click on VIEW OBJECTS.
7. Click on the "CTC Bridge UTS" file so it is highlighted.
8. Go to the top, click on FILE, then click REMOVE PROGRAM FILE.
9. Click OK, or YES.
