AOL Account Still Required

Updated: April 06, 2004

Keep Your AOL Account? You Must!

Here's the latest update based on e-mail and telephone feedback I've received:

  • You must still keep your AOL account in order to access Unimatic after the Sun JRE upgrade.

This bears repeating:  Even if you use a broadband connection and a normal web browser to connect to Unimatic via the link: http://airline.compuserve.com/ual/launch_mb2.asp, you must still keep your AOL account active.

More and more people with broadband and/or other ISPs are using the standard web link (mentioned above) and not opening up and using 'AOL CREWS' at all.

The choice is yours, but be sure not to cancel your AOL account. If you do, no more Unimatic for you. No monthly fee to AOL, no Unimatic. Got that one?

That's where most of the confusion has been---remember, you must still keep your AOL account even after the Sun JRE upgrade on April 8.

Sincerely,

Christopher Lee
