AOL Unimatic/Apollo Sign-On Changes

Updated: April 11, 2005

Flight Attendants who maintain an AOL account for access to Unimatic and Apollo, but whom do not use AOL's software to connect, will experience a change in their logon procedures. They will be required to re-authenticate (i.e., enter their AOL screen name and password) every time they request access to the United area on AOL.

This change also applies to Mac users and Flight Attendants that use software provided by an independent developer (e.g., BidPlus, Unimatic Add-On, etc...).

NOTE: This change does not apply to those F/As who use AOL’s software (7.0, 8.0 or 9.0) to access the United area on AOL.

Additionally, AOL will send Unimatic/Apollo users a 'session' cookie that will be good only for the current session. If users leave the United area on AOL and then elect to return, they will again be required to enter their screen name and password.
