Step-By-Step Guide: JRE Installation
This guide on this page is designed to show you, step-by-step, the download and installation procedure to obtain the Sun JRE. This process could take anywhere from 10 to 120 minutes, depending on your computer and Internet connection, so give yourself plenty of time to finish. You may want to print this page.

Please Note First:
You may not see each and every single screen as shown below. This is a general guide meant to address the most common screens you will see during the installation process. Your actual download process may skip a step here or there, but it should basically follow the sequence as outlined below.
Step 1
- Connect to the Internet and open your Web browser.
- Visit http://airline.compuserve.com/ual/launch_mb2.asp
Step 2
You will see the following window appear:
Check the box and click 'Yes'.
Step 3
The following screen will appear:
It tells you that you are downloading the Sun JRE. There is a bar at the bottom of the screen that tells you how much time you have left. This step may take up to 60 minutes, so be patient!
Step 4
Once fully downloaded, the program begins to install itself. Your screen may not look exactly like this one, however, it should say, "Preparing to Install."
Step 5
Before the program finishes installing, you will be asked to accept the terms of the licensing agreement. You must accept in order to use the software.
Step 6
Next, you will be asked to choose the install type. Choose "Typical" install.
