'Timestamp Expired' Error Message

Updated: August 02, 2006

ISSUE: What do you do when you receive the Timestamp Expired error message?

Source: United Airlines/AOL

The timestamp expired message occurs while the user is waiting for the CTC Multi-Bridge/terminal window to appear.

What that means is that the user’s session has timed out and they need to re-authenticate. This usually happens when the CTC servers are very busy, the user is on a slow dial up connection or the user is waiting for the Core applet to load or reload.

How to fix this

The user can easily fix this issue and all they need to do is to ‘click’ OK on the timestamp window and they will be taken back to the United Employee Channel page. When the user gets back to the United Employee Channel page, they should immediately click on the Unimatic/Apollo link again. When they click on the link, they will immediately be returned to the CTC Multi-Bridge/terminal window and either Unimatic or Apollo will be displayed.
