Dec 8 - Phase 3 vacations were finalized and posted in Flight Attendant FDSK screens this morning.
NOV 12 - Some computers outside United's network are unable to access monthly bid packages.
The time for Vacation bidding is almost upon us. In preparation for the opening of the Contractual bidding timeline outlined in Section 18 of our Contract, before the end of September, (likely on September 29, 2011) the Company will post the Reserve Letter lists in the domiciles.
July 1 - We are pleased to announce that United has agreed to continue the Partnership Program for another 6-month period.
Jun 18 - AFA successfully advocated for increases time for Flight Attendants to input bids for July schedules following computer outage.
JUN 17 - "Systemwide application failure" affects company’s computer systems (
updated 2200 CST).
Jan 27 - The Partnership Flying award is complete for the new six-month period beginning March 2, 2011. As a result of the Partnership awards the Company will not involuntarily furlough any Flight Attendant.
Aug 9 - The System Board of Adjustment today announced a win for AFA in the charter case and "order[s] that the Company cease and desist from “feeding” names to charters and reiterate the need for the Company to act in accordance with Section 9.A.4."

Nov 20 - Flight Attendants assigned to Reserve for the month of December, have an opportunity to preference where they would prefer to layover for the holiday. In an effort to better manage and support the 2009 Reserve Christmas Wish List, AFA and United have developed new programming that provides improvements to previous year’s systems.
Sep 10 - Traditional ID number changes will return to historic ranges in October.
