We are pleased to introduce you to RAFA, the Retiree Association of Flight Attendants. Founded in 2004, RAFA became a constituent unit of AFA-CWA in 2010 and continues to grow as a supportive and informed community for both active and retired Flight Attendants.
RAFA currently has two chapters located in San Francisco and London, along with a Member-at-Large category for those outside these areas. Membership is open not only to retirees, but also to active flight attendants who wish to join as associate members. Local meetings and social gatherings are open to all members.
Our organization is dedicated to advocating for the interests of both active and retired flight attendants. We provide guidance and support during the important transition from active service to retirement, helping members better understand and navigate their retiree benefits. Through our members' collective knowledge and AFA-CWA's support, we offer valuable assistance on topics such as travel benefits, healthcare options, Medicare, and Social Security.
Membership in RAFA is just $15 per year and gives you access to a network of experience, advocacy, and support.
