Company Offered Leave of Absence (COLA) Return Process

As announced recently on CCS, the June 2026 One-Month Special COLA Program will not be offered for the June bid month. The company will continue to review coverage until the start of the scheduled month on May 31st, and could decide to award some Special COLAs, but you should plan to fly your June schedule.

If you have been on a SCOLA from month to month for an extended time, returning to work might seem overwhelming from when you last were active.

Flight Attendants should review the information in Section 15 and the SCOLA leave packet regarding returning to work. FlyingTogether > MyWork > Crew Planning/Scheduling and Administration > Crew Resource Planning > COLA’s Partnerships and Jobshares > June 2026 Special COLA.

As you prepare to return to work, verify that your company issued LINK device is in working order, all applications are up to date, and your device has the approved operating iOS system.

As a reminder, if you have not operated a particular aircraft type within the last 90 days, you are required to review door operations prior to operating a flight. Flight Attendants will receive notifications via CCS and the MyFlight app. This review must be completed prior to operating the aircraft.

No matter how long it has been since you were last in the air, your Local Council is available to support your return to work and any questions or concerns you may have.
