The November 3, 2026 Midterm election will determine what we can achieve for our profession and working families over the next two years. Advocacy and daily Union efforts are an important part of protecting our careers, but they are only part of what is needed to drive the change we deserve. Our vote is key in shaping the future we have earned, and we are counting on every AFA-CWA Member!

Your Local Government Affairs Committee is here to support you through the election period. On September 12th, we officially launched Get Out The Vote across the system. Our mission is simple: provide our peers with the most current information about the 2026 elections and ensure they can participate in our democratic process and cast their vote. 

As Flight Attendants, our work means we cannot guarantee where we will be on Election Day. We must be proactive and prepared to utilize every opportunity to cast our ballot. 

Our partnership with the League of Women Voters provides access to a nonpartisan one-stop shop for all the tools and information you need to make your voice heard in this election. It includes a voter registration tool, absentee ballot and polling place information, and more. VOTE411.org/AFACWA is nonpartisan, and all information comes from election officials' sites and candidate teams.

Get Out the Vote volunteers in the terminals are available to help you;

• Check your Voter Registration
• Find out how to Register or Re-Register
  • We have received reports of Members who have been previously registered who are no longer showing as registered in their state.
• Verify your voting district
  • Many states have redrawn districts
• Find your in-person polling location and ballot drop boxes
• Look into alternative voting options: mail-in, absentee, early in-person
• Access information about what is on your ballot by address
