The United Master Executive Council (MEC) will hold our Regular Summer MEC Meeting on August 13-15, 2025, at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago O'Hare Airport. Local Council Leaders, including your President and others from our system, will attend to discuss Union business and address issues that are important to Members.
During the meeting, the United AFA MEC Officers will provide updates since the last regular meeting, the Central Scheduling and Reserve Committees will present their annual report to the MEC, and on the second day we will conduct elections for open MEC Committee positions. Information about the available positions, including responsibilities, is available on the MEC Elections Page of our website.
We invite members to attend their Local Council meetings and observe the democratic process in action. If you happen to be in the Chicago area during August 13-15, 2025, you are also welcome to attend the MEC Summer Meeting. The scheduled dates and times, as well as the MEC Meeting agenda, are posted on our website.
Transportation from ORD will be provided by the Hilton Garden Inn shuttle. The shuttle runs every half hour from the shuttle pickup area on the lower level of Terminal Two (T2).
