As Flight Attendants, we are contractually required to check in and out of all layover hotels. While a credit card is not needed at check-in to access your room or activate the in-room phone, hotels may request one for optional services such as room service, personal phone calls, or other incidentals. It is your responsibility to settle any personal charges at check-out, to avoid company involvement.
