MEC Grievance Committee
Over the last quarter (April 1, 2026 - June 30, 2026), Members filed a total of 318 Worksheets systemwide. Out of the 318 worksheets filed, 56 worksheets reported issues that pertained to multiple Contract sections, bringing the total number of issues reported to 374. Since January of 2026, Members have filed 649 Worksheets. Outlined below are statistics that are affecting the Flight Attendant population. The report also includes the current grievance cases (both contract and discipline) as well as the upcoming cases that your MEC Grievance Committee is handling.

Upcoming Arbitrations
- MEC 8-21 is scheduled for arbitration in August. This grievance was filed when the Company began adjusting the reassignment pay for a Reserve who picks up a trip on days off, then subsequently gets reassigned due to operational issues and the reassignment impedes on another day off.
- MEC 9-23 and MEC 10-23 both involving reassignment under 7.Q.6 were discussed in mediation and a settlement could not be reached. We are now working to get both of these grievances scheduled for arbitration.
Discipline
Eight (8) Flight Attendants have returned to work in the second quarter of 2026, bringing the total number to fifteen (15) in 2026.
