Our Voices in Action!

On January 15, Flight Attendants took our fight directly to the front steps of United Airlines’ Headquarters in downtown Chicago, delivering a clear and powerful message to management: we stand together in solidarity against corporate greed, and the continued delays to the improvements we have earned in a Contract. Despite the frigid temperatures, we showed up, stood strong, and made our voices heard.

This event was a powerful demonstration of unity and resolve, a message that was amplified by the strong support of United Pilots from ALPA; members of the United Airlines Union Coalition; AFA-CWA International Officers Sara Nelson, Dante Harris, and Keturah Johnson; CWA International President Claude Cummings Jr.; Senator Bernie Sanders; IL State Senator Mike Simmons; IL Democratic candidate Patty Garcia; U.S. Representative Val Hoyle; TTD, AFL-CIO; the Chicago Federation of Labor; LIUNA; Starbucks Workers United Chicago; APFA; TWU Local 556; AFA Delta; the Teamsters; PAFCA; UE Labor Union;  IBEW Local 134; Chicago Teachers Union; members of our local community; and Flight Attendants from many other AFA carriers. Their Solidarity reinforced that this fight extends beyond one workgroup and stands as a shared demand for respect, fairness, and a stronger future for working people.

Your presence, in person and virtually, made this event a success and reinforced the strength of our collective voice. Together, we are stronger. Together, we will continue to stand up, speak out, and ensure we are heard.
