Shadowing Opportunity: Digital Technology Committee (DTC) Liaison

AFA United MEC is seeking a Liaison to join the Digital Technology Committee (DTC). The DTC Liaison works alongside the full-time DTC Coordinator to support the Union’s technology needs and help guide digital solutions for the MEC. 

The election to fill the balance of the 2-year term for this position will take place at the Winter MEC Meeting in January. The successful candidate will begin their term immediately upon election and will continue through June 30, 2026.

About the Role

The DTC Liaison contributes to website support, hardware and software projects, and training for Union activists. The position is flexible and ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new systems, and supporting digital tools used across the Union.

Qualifications

Familiarity with MEC technology is important, and preferred qualifications are listed on the notice of elections page.
